Our story started in 2022 by hawking coffee from the laptop to coffee takeaway outlets ,marketplaces, offices and boda boda stages. Zion Coffee was founded by a young lady ,Jamillah Kenyange, who quit formal employment to pursue her interests in the coffee sector. Having interacted with a few coffee players on the market, Jamillah picked interest in speciality coffee and decided to cast her net deeper in the male dominated venture and birthed Zion Coffee from the biblical principles ( Mt.Zion the City of the living God, Hebrew 12:22) and considering Uganda being a blessed country to grow coffee the amazing cash crop that generates wealth. Following her research, Jamillah realized that coffee consumption in Uganda is still low,henceforth coming up with a strategy to promote coffee domestic consumption among the you who are the country's biggest population. This has been achieved by opening up a coffee takeaway outlet/ cafe near university hostels in Nakawa with an affordable coffee menu.
